We are hiring a Delivery Manager and 1-3 Delivery Crew members for the 2026 event season! If you are interested in joining the Van Wyck Farm Tables team, please submit your application for your preferred role by March 1st, 2026.
We’re seeking a Delivery Manager to oversee all furniture deliveries, setups, and pick-ups during our busy event season. This is a leadership, hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, logistics, and being the point person on event days. On delivery days, you’ll represent our brand on-site, working directly with venue staff, event coordinators, and clients to ensure everything is set up exactly as needed, while also keeping timelines, scope, and boundaries intact.
Seasonal position: May–October
Most deliveries occur on Friday afternoons, Saturdays, and Sunday mornings
Occasional weekday deliveries may be required
Must be available for most (preferably all) weekends during the season
Schedules are provided at least one month in advance
Serve as the on-site representative and point of contact for Van Wyck Farm Tables on delivery days
Proactively seek out the event coordinator, venue contact, or client upon arrival to confirm layout and instructions
Coordinate and manage a delivery crew of 1–3 team members per event
Drive the company truck and cargo trailer to and from venues
Safely load, unload, and transport all rental furniture
Lead furniture setup and placement according to event layouts and instructions
Wipe down and stage furniture to event-ready condition
Set friendly, professional boundaries if requests fall outside the agreed scope of work
Oversee breakdown and organized return of furniture after events
Maintain organization of furniture in storage/cargo trailer after each rental to prepare for the next one
Track and report any damaged items
Communicate clearly with the owner regarding schedules and logistics
Friendly, calm, and professional with clients, coordinators, and venue staff
Comfortable taking initiative and asking clarifying questions on-site
Able to balance being accommodating while also holding clear boundaries
Organized, reliable, and confident leading a small team
Enjoys problem-solving in real-time during live events
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Comfortable driving a truck and towing a cargo trailer (or willing to learn)
Ability to lift and move heavy furniture (up to 50lbs solo and >100lbs team lift)
Strong communication and leadership skills
Event, logistics, hospitality, or delivery experience preferred (but not required)
$200 base pay per event
10% of the event invoice total
100% of the delivery fee charged to the client (applies only to deliveries >20 miles away)

Wipe down and stage furniture so it’s event-ready
Breakdown and re-load furniture after events
Work efficiently while maintaining a friendly, professional, and positive attitude on-site
Ability to lift and move heavy furniture (up to 50lbs solo and >100lbs team lift)
Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
Comfortable working outdoors and at a variety of venues
Moving, warehouse, or event experience is a plus (but not required)
$35 per hour
$70 guaranteed pay per shift (in other words, you will always be paid a minimum of $70 every shift, even if the delivery or pickup takes less than 2 hrs)
